What course should I do if I have no experience at all in hair?
Learners can progress straight onto our 20-week Level 2 NVQ Diploma which will give learners all the foundations needed to start a career in hairdressing, learners can start earning as soon as they graduate. 

Alternatively, students can enrol onto our 8-week Online-Only Hairdressing programme designed as a taster course to introduce students to the world of hair and what this career will entail.

Can I go straight into work when I get my certificate at the end of my course?

Yes, all learners can go straight into work after completing either a level 2 or level 3 NVQ Diploma.
All our NVQ courses are accredited by  world-class governing body VTCT, all VTCT qualifications are internationally recognised. More information about VTCT can be found here.

Will I definitely get a diploma at the end of the course, what happens if I fail?
The London Hairdressing Academy holds a 100% pass rate since 2015. We assure that all learners who complete the set assignments, homework, assessments and maintain 100% attendance will be able to successfully complete the program. 

Do we need to bring in our own models?

The entire programme is taught in a real salon environment in order to create a realistic working environment and allowing students to gain full confidence in the salon to work independently as a stylist after graduations, The LHA does provide models, however, all students are required to bring in models and practice on models at home should The LHA not be able to provide models for students summative assessments. 

 

Can I go straight to a Level 3 Diploma?

Unfortunately without a recognised Level 2 Diploma UK colleges and academy’s cannot progress students straight onto level 3.
